LITTLE ROCK, AR – A drug bust in the Rose Bud area in White County netted ¼ pound of meth and $15,000 in reported stolen property, among other things.

The White County Sheriff’s Office says in addition to the meth and stolen property, investigators found a half ounce of marijuana, multiple prescription pills, and drug paraphernalia in the home of Mike James Boutault, 57, who lives at 570 Deer Road.

The sheriff’s office says the property is reported stolen out of White County, Cleburne County, Conway County, and Fairfield Bay.

Boutault was arrested and is being held on $40,000 bond. He is charged with theft by receiving, possession of methamphetamines with intent to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia, and maintaining a drug premise.

The sheriff’s office says this isn’t Boutault’s first run-in with the law, saying he has a history that includes possession and distribution of drugs.

You can tell dude isnt a meth head, he is just a little to plump. He has had run ins with the law before, so keep his ass off of the streets for good. But, he will end up in front of a weak ass prosecutor that will offer a sweet plea deal and the judge will let it all fly. Personally I think that since he refuses to be a productive member of society, he shouldnt be seen or heard from anymore, but thats just me.

I also read your comment on your military service. Been there and done that too. Took basic at a place call Tiger land, Little Vietnam. Basic leadership school, NCO Academy, NCOES. Know about letters of accommodation and on the spot promotion. Got some. Was a hard stripe 5 in less than 18 months. I didn't ask to have health problem and become addict under the care of some of the best doctors in the state.

Been there and done that knicknack. Never lied about it. You should see what I've done after that. I had changed so much by 2004 when indited by a federal grand jury I didn't have to go to prison. One of my crime partners got life. I love the words cut all ties and statue of limitation. So yes I'd say I know a lot of things about criminal activity and law. So quit being angry because of the comment on the suds. Have another.

He be replaced before the dust settles. How long have you watched them fight dope. The number one drug is sold legally in the States. You can even make it in your own home. Alcohol. It kills how many a year. I'll bet some of you sit around sipping them suds. Don't hate on people for doing the same thing your doing. Their drug of choice just isn't the same as yours. LOL. Put him away.

This is one substance that need to be a priority of our drug laws, I would rather they spend time and money keeping it off the street than to worry about someone smoking marijuana or growing it. At least growing a plant won't blow up a house like manufacturing meth could and has done. You really never know how violent meth can be or what sets them off, the most violent thing a marijuana user would do is raid a frig or pantry and devour everything that is edible.

THEY NEED TO BUY ENOUGH CONCRETE BLOCKS TO BUILD A FACILITY THAT WILL HOUSE ABOUT 10000 CRIMINALS AND MAKE THE DAMMMMM CRIMINALS BUILD THE BUILDING. THAT SHOULDN'T COST TOO MUCH. THERE ARE AT LEAST 50 A DAY THAT NEED TO BE PUT AWAY. I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE POLICE ARE DOING WITH THEM.

JOECOOL....What makes you think he is off the street???? Why the hellll hasn't he been put away? THERE IS A NONVIOLENT stupid drug addict in there that has spent most of his adult life in jail just for "testing dirty" at probation. WHAT THE HELLLL IS WRONG WITH OUR JUSTICE SYSTEM? Build more and more prison space until they are all in there or scared to offend !!!! and NO I will not vote for more taxes...we have enough....PRIORITIES, PRIORITIES, PRIORITIES. IT DOESN'T TAKE MILLIONS OF DOLLARS TO BUILD A CONCRETE BUILDING TO HOUSE CRIMINALS.
